Nadasurabhi continues its Music Education Initiative- Announcing Course 17.

Nadasurabhi is pleased to announce its Seventeenth course under the Education initiative to conduct high level music courses.

Details are as follows:

Guru: Ganakalarathna Vidwan Bangalore S. Shankar  

Course Title: Venkatesa Vaibhavam(Songs on Lord Venkateswara) 

Dates and timing:

March 30, Friday- 3.30 pm -5.30 pm

March 31, Saturday - 3.30 pm -5.30 pm

April 1, Sunday - 3.30 pm – 5.30 pm

List of songs that will be taught:

1. Vande Jagad vallabham – Hamsadwani- Annamacharya
2. Venkatesa ninnu – Madhyamavathi – Thyagaraja
3. Sri Venkata Girisam – Surutti – Muthuswami Dikshitar
4. Venkata saila vihara – Hamir Kalyani – Subbaraya Sastri
5. Sri Venkatesam – Thodi – Poochi Srinivasa Iyengar
6. Tirupathi Venkata ramana – Sindhu Bhairavi - Purandaradasa

Course fee per participant is Rs. 2,000 payable in cash or NEFT bank transfer in advance. Registration will be confirmed on receipt of payment. There can be no refund of fees after registration.

No. of students: 20 only on first come first served basis. (A few seats are reserved for eager music students, who are economically backward, based on the recommendation from their guru. They are exempted from payment of the course fee)

 Minimum Student Qualification:  Must have learnt up to keerthanai level.
