SANGEETHA SURABHI AWARDS
Nadasurabhi is greatly honoured to award the title of Sangeetha Surabhi for 2024 to Vidwan Neyveli R Santhanagopalan.
on 10th November 2024
A prime disciple of mahavidwan Madurai T.N.Seshagopalan, Sri. Santhanagopalan has made immense contribution to Carnatic music over a period of five decades. He is a recipient of many other prestigious awards, including Sangita Kalanidhi from Madras Music Academy. While Smt. Harini Raghavan read the citation on the recipient, Vidushi Sumitra Nitin narrated the uniqueness of the Music of Sri. Santhanagopalan. In the acceptance speech, Sri.Santhanagopalan acknowledged his long association with Nadasurabhi and also mentioned the support of his wife Smt. Meera in his rise to stardom.
