Description

Kumari S.Aishwarya Vocal
Smt.Anuthama Murali Violin
Sri Phanindra Bhaskar Mridangam

Kumari Aishwarya gave a good start to the three day Youth festival. Choosing quite a high pitch, she managed to present an error free concert. Except on rare occsions, the sruti alignment was excellent and was well appreciated by the elite audience. Commencing the programme with a trade mark MS slokam, went on to the Kalyani adi tala Varnam, Vanajakshi. A good Vatapi Ganapathim was followed by a sub- main Mayamalavagowla- Deva Deva Kalayami consisting of alapana, neraval and swaraprasthara. The main raga selected was Kalyani- Nidhi Chala Sukhama. The concluding portion consisting of Jagadhodharana and Kurai Onrum illai was sharp and impressive. Aishwarya is undoubtedly a good artist in the making, and hopefully she will train and improve the structuring of the manodharma aspects for a full concert presentation.
