Vignesh Ishwar gave a brilliant concert on 17.3.2019. It started with a bang with Dharini telusukonti with several rounds of brisk swaras. Popular Kalyani and Anandabhairavi (Syama Sastri) kritis added weight to the performance. Super brisk Pattividuvarada brought vigour and cheer both on stage and among the audience.

Maragatha Valli was a master piece rendition with all manodharma aspects, alapanai, neraval and swaram at it best. Absolute clarity and precision marked the entire Main piece. It was very well received. Sagara shayana vibho , an MD Ramanathan composition, was extremely soothing. The Purandaradasa tail piece set in very appropriate ragas, gave a fitting end to a most enjoyable evening.

Young B.K.Raghu who continues to impress audiences with his great adaptability, once again rose to the occasion playing for a challenging main artist. Veterans K.U. Jayachandra Rao and Sukanya Ramgopal elevated the standard of the concert by their understanding percussion support as well in a brilliant thani avarthanam.
