Nadasurabhi Cultural Association located in Koramangala, Bangalore is in the forefront of promoting Classical Carnatic Music. Nadasurabhi conducts the highest quality music concerts every month and a week-long Annual Festival in November, free of charge to all rasikas. Our other events include a youth festival, Thyagaraja and Purandaradasa Aradhana, and music competitions for children.

Sri. Dilip Simha and Sri. Jagdish are both senior disciples of Smt. Neela Ramgopal, who have been learning advanced lessons for more than a decade from her. Both are B High graded artists of All India Radio. They have individually and together performed in several leading sabhas all over India. Dilip Simha has received several awards like the “Baala Prathibhe” from Karnataka Sangeetha Nruthya Academy, G.N.Balasubramaniam Prize for the best performance from Madras Music Academy,Chennai,  the “Best Youth Performer” in the Spirit of Youth series, recipient of junior and senior level scholarship from the Government of India and a rank holder in the state level Carnatic music exam. Sri.Jagdish, besides being a good vocalist is also trained in mridangam by Vidwan N.G.Ravi. He is also an engineer currently finishing his PhD at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, working on optoelectronics and applied physics.


 


Sri Achyutha Rao, Adamya and Anil form the “A” Team of young carnatic accompanying artists. They are highly talented and accomplished in their respective instruments.

The sisters, Smt. Harini and Sharada have learnt under illustrious guru Sri. Anoor Ramakrishna. They continue their training to this day from Sri.AAK Sharma and Smt. Charulatha Ramanujam. Both are rank holders in the Senior Grade Music Examinations conducted by the Govt of Karnataka . They are presently B-High graded artistes of AIR & Doordarshan.Having been selected as the Best Vocal Duet during the Talent Search Music Competition by the Govt. Of Karnataka for the Mysore Dasara Cultural Programmes  they performed at the Jaganmohan Palace, Mysore.


As one of the best known duet performers, they have over the past two decades performed in all prestigious venues and sabhas in India.


 


Accompanying the sisters, we present highly respected senior artists of Bangalore, Smt. Nalina Mohan, Sri.BR Srinivas and Sri. Srishylan who have been accompanying all popular, senior vocalists and instrumentalists over very many years.
